As 2020 has seen many of us spending more time at home, lots of us have been decluttering our homes. A good declutter can help bring us a sense of order and allow us to feel like our home is a calmer and more relaxing space. I’ve put together a handy list of ideas which includes days out, food and various subscriptions. Many of them make great gifts for the whole family. For example, my parents are giving us a National Trust membership for Christmas this year. It means we’ll be able to have lots of family days out without worrying about the cost throughout the year.
While the current Coronavirus restrictions may limit some of the ideas on this list at present, it doesn’t mean they can’t be purchased to use at a later date when restrictions have been listed.
Buying a gift voucher for a local restaurant or beauty parlour is a great way to support a small local business during these difficult times. You could also think about the recipient – if they don’t get much time to themselves then a beauty treatment or the offer of looking after their children for a few hours (or both!) could be a very welcome gift indeed.
